Blogworld & Backstage Recollections

Dianna Agron -

Not only does she star in Glee, but she has a blog where she shares her favourite music and more. J'adore.

Celestine Cooney -

Celestine is an immense stylist and friend (she was the genius who got me front row tickets for the Ashish show she styled last year at London Fashion week) and her blog is awesome.

Lucy Chadwick -

Duffy's girlfriend, Lucy, works for galleries and is crazy cool. She also happens to be beautiful and has incredible taste (art and fashion). Check it!

Tavi Gevinson -

Now, everyone has heard of Tavi due to her photoshoots in magazines such as 'The Pop'. May I just mention, she ain't the youngest blogger!

Susie Bubble -

Fun, fashionable and pretty adorable, too. Susie Bubble has one of the best fashion blogs out there (in my opinion! Don't be hatin'!)... and I just love her quirky style.

The Satorialist -

L-O-V-E. 'Nuff said.

Keiko Lynn -

Apart from the fact she has one of the coolest names I have ever heard, I just adore her blog. Such a feminine and gorgeous woman who can combine 'cute' with 'sophisticated' flawlessly. The way she combines retro pieces with modern designers is also admirable. P.S Her make up skills are RAD.

Fashion Toast -

Not my favourite, but still, worth the mention. Favourite aspect of the blog is probably the quality of photography, plus some of her outfits are uber cool.

Now, I would like to take a moment to tell you about the Michael van der Ham show. As I provided a sufficient number of photographs from my adventure I thought it would only be right to justify just how awesome the experience was in words. Claire Richardson was the stylist and I mentioned that I met her in the Catskills during the summer. Such a lovely person and she did a wonderful job at the show! Lucy, Duffy's girlfriends, was helping out and although she was probably stressed to the max, she looked as chic as ever! Duffy is one of my best friends and was so kind, letting me follow him around like a puppy with my camera and take photos the whole time! He also introduced me to all the uber fun and nice people behind the scenes of the show. The Duf also introduced me to some lovely and beyond stunning (obvs) models, such as Kara. She was from Wales, only 17 and it was her first show ever! The crew members all fawned over my shoes (Louboutin studded kicks) whilst I fawned over the collection! The pieces were mainly dresses made with a velvet material with jewel hued tones, but he also included some metallic trousers that were definitely eye catching! Overall, the experience made me feel like one hell of a lucky girl.
Thank you so much, Duffy!

We were off to see the Wizard, the wonderful Wizard of Oz!

Yesterday I went to the theatre with my grandma and saw 'The Wizard of Oz'. Now, I am a huge fan of the film and dressed up as Dorothy for Halloween about 6 times. No exaggeration, people! Although not as good as the film (what is?!) the show was spectacular and I recommend it to everyone.

Half term is nearly over... Excuse me whilst I cry!

"Time wounds all heels"

Hay hay, it's half term y'all! My week will be spent shopping for a new school bag, seeing 'The Wizard of Oz' at the theatre with my grandma (Yes, I am that popular) and going to yoga every single day. Not sure if I have mentioned, but I love it! What else am I loving at the mo? Glee's covers of 'PYT' and 'Firework' and the awesome clothes at Laugh Cry Repeat. Especially the heart tees for Valentine's day:

Right, anyways, I just got back from seeing the theatre show 'Shoes' avec ma mère. SO GOOD! Honestly, one of the best shows I have ever seen. Super funny and full of designers' names and jokes about women and their 'crazy' love for shoes. Not only was it hilarious, but the dancing and singing was amazing. 4.5/5 stars!

Some more events on my calender:
London Fashion week starts next Sunday and I may be going to a show or two!

Love half term.

(Almost) Speechless

That is how the latest Superbowl Glee episode left me. Stellar, as always.

That is all.

Star Struck

Hello everyone! Today, I paid a well needed visit to Dover Street Market. Unfortunately, I did not buy anything, but I definitely saw some memorable pieces. Oh, and another thing, I saw... JOHN GALLIANO. Literally speechless. My Mother had to restrain me as I nearly pounced and was tempted to bow in honor of the God. All in all, it was quite the experience, even if I didn't buy anything. That would've been the cherry on top. Aahhhh.

All hail Galliano!

Chloe Sevigny for Opening Cermony. Adorable.

Christopher Kane. Don't worry, I know this isn't new, mais j'adore this galaxy collection.

Lanvin. Their new swimsuits are on my summer list. Fo' sho'.

There were obviously so many incredible finds, but I can't find any photos in the internet. Just think Celine, Givenchy and Commes des Garcons. Lots of Commes des Garcons!

More recent happenings, reading the March 2011 edition of Vanity Fair. Gotta love how Jake Gyllanhaal, Mila Kunis, Anne Hathaway, Jesse Eisenberg, Ryan Reynolds James Franco and Joseph Gordon-Levitt are all on the cover. What more could a person ask for? (Ed Westick and Bradley Cooper, that's what. But, hey, I can bare with this star studded cover for now).

Not only does this issue have a stellar cover, but guess who is featured in it? My beloved Leighton Meester. Maybe I haven't mentioned before, but she is probably my biggest idol of all time.

All I can say is, LUSM.

Before I go, just want to Gleek myself out as it is hard to have a post where I don't slip in a few words regarding my minor obsession with the show or cast. MAJORLY excited for the series return for the Superbowl episode!!! Being the nerd I am, I have googled all the spoilers and already listening to the songs that are featured in the episode. It just never ceases to amaze me. Gets better every time. Don't believe me? Destiny's Child song performed by all male choir. Michael Jackson remix/mash-up. Jane Lynch/Sue Sylvester getting a tattoo with her name mis-spelt. That's what I'm talking about.
